Unable to install plugins from the RDB Store. Error: You are not authorised to install this plugin.

Please note that you will only be able to install or update plugins via the RDB Store if the following conditions are true:

  • You have a Members Area account against your main RDB contract.

  • The account is elevated to Decision Maker or Verified Contact status (Access RDB: How to create a Verified contact for information on how to change this status).

  • You are running RDB ProNet version 6.7 SR7 or higher.

If the above conditions are met but the error message 'You are not authorised to install this plugin' persists:

  1. From RDB Store click Logout at the bottom left of the screen.

  2. Close RDB.

  3. Open Internet Explorer and clear the browser's cookies and cache (top right Settings 'cog', Internet options, Browsing history, Delete, Delete).

  4. Close Internet Explorer.

  5. Login to RDB.

  6. Navigate to the RDB Store.

You should then be prompted to sign in to Access Identity; login with the appropriate credentials.
