Outlook Add-in not showing in Outlook

This article explains what to do if the Outlook Add-in / RDB Sync tool is not displaying within Outlook, usually this displays on the right-hand side of the screen. It also explains how to disable the Outlook Add-in if required.

To re-enable the Outlook Add-in , in Outlook:

  1. Click File and then click Options, Add-ins.

  2. Click the dropdown menu next to Manage and choose Disabled Items.

    1. Click Go.

    2. If outlook-add in is included in the list.

    3. Click on it, click Enable and then click Close.

  3. Click the dropdown menu next to Manage and choose COM Add-ins.

    1. Click Go.

    2. Find the Outlook-add in through this list.

    3. Tick it and Click OK.

  4. If the Outlook Add-in does not appear, restart Outlook.

To disable the Outlook Add-in, in Outlook:

  1. Click File and then click Options, Add -ins.

  2. Near the bottom centre, click Go.

  3. Find the RDB ProNet Outlook Add-in and untick it.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Restart Outlook.
