Log into the Virtual Office (Apple Mac Device)

This article explains how to set up and log into the Virtual Office from an Apple Mac computer (macOS 12.0 or later).

Windows App version 11.0.8 or later - previously called Microsoft Remote Desktop

  • This is used to connect the Apple Mac to the Virtual Office server.

  • This is available from the Apple Mac Store and runs on macOS 12.0 or later.


Connecting To The Virtual Office

  1. Open an Internet Browser (e.g. Safari).

  2. In the address bar type and search for: https://vo.accessacloud.com.

  3. Add the user's credentials in the below format:

    • FCSASP\Username.

    • Password.

  4. Click Sign In.

  5. Click the Virtual Office icon.

  6. Click the Downloads at the bottom right of the screen.

  7. Click the Orange Windows App icon.

  8. Repeat steps 3 and 4 when prompted.


Assign file type

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: It maybe necessary to assign the remote desktop file type (.rdp) with the Microsoft Remote Desktop application:

  1. Open Finder.

  2. Click a .rdp file.

  3. Click File.

  4. Click Get Info.

  5. From the Info Window, Click the grey triangle to disclose the Open With Pane.

  6. From the pop-up menu, choose the Microsoft Remote Desktop application.
