In the bottom right, double-click the CV Reader icon.
To re-check or retry, in the bottom right, right-click the CV Reader icon and select Check Now.
Remove and re-add the CVs
After trying the above, if the CVs haven't left the CV Dropzone, remove the CVs from the Dropzone and add them back in one at a time, following the steps below:
Click the Start menu and search for %appdata%.
Follow the path: \Firstchoicesoftware\CVreaderNET\Dropzone/Root ***
Remove all CVs from the Root folder and paste them onto the desktop.
Add one CV at a time into the dropzone to identify which CV is corrupt.
Once you've identified the corrupt CV, save it as plain text and add it back to the dropzone.
๐ Note: *** if the folder \Firstchoicesoftware\CVreaderNET\Dropzone/Root does not exist please look instead in your folder Documents\CVReaderNet\Dropzone\Root
Read more information about creating a dropzone.
Large CV files
If you still get the error when you're copying a large CV, it may be that CV Reader is trying to pull them into RDB before they've finished copying across.
โ
We advise that you wait a few seconds after the error's appeared, then right-click the CV Reader icon and select Check Now.
