Once you've completed the Office 365 configuration, the instructions below should be followed in RDB ProNet.
Installing the Office 365 Mailer Plugin
Log in to RDB ProNet with an account with access to the RDB Store.
Open the RDB Store.
Search for Office 365 Mailer and install.
After installing, click Options.
Click Manager then select Plugin Packages.
Click Plugins.
Assign any of the following:
Office 365 Mailer.
Office 365 Mailer Global Settings.
Office 365 Mailer User Settings to any users that require it.
Restart RDB ProNet.
The Office 365 Mailer Global Settings and Office 365 Mailer User Settings plugins should display under the Plugins tab.
Office 365 Mailer Global Settings
A settings screen should display when the Office 365 Mailer Global Settings plugin is clicked from the Plugins tab.
Complete the following steps when configuring a new Office 365 Tenancy.
📌 Note: This is a system-level configuration and only needs to be done once (Unless Client Secrets are re-generated in Office 365). RDB ProNet requires a restart if these settings are changed.
Enter the following values that you noted from the Office 365 Setup instructions above:
Enabled: Ensure this is selected.
Applicant (client) ID: Copy from Office 365 Client.
Directory (tenant) Id: Copy from Office 365 Client.
Client Secret Value: Copy from Office 365 Client.
📌 Note: If your client secret expires, then a new one can be added in the Azure portal, noting the new Client Secret value and then updating this value in RDB.
Ideally, you should generate a new security before the old one expires to avoid any interruption in email sync. In this case, you can go back to the Azure portal and, inside Certificates & Secrets, regenerate the Client Secret.
Navigate to the Azure Portal.
Click View Active Directory then click App Registrations.
Select the App Registration created in the steps above for RCRM.
Click Client Certificates & Secrets then click New Client Secret.
Select a new Description and Expiry date.
Copy the Client Secret Value.
In RDB, update the Client Secret value.
