📌 Note: There are pre-requisites to successfully populate saved Locations with grid references - click here to view the pre-requisites and correct as necessary before proceeding.

⚠️ Important: The procedure described below will only update locations that have valid post codes, and those post codes must be present in the database that Arc-en-Ciel use in their Address software.

To have Access RDB update all locations without grid references, you may need to ask your RDB administrator to do the following:

  1. Click Options and then click Look Ups.

  2. Click Location and then from Locations Click Update Locations without Grid Refs.

⚠️ Important:

  • For clients not hosted on our Virtual Office platform, this must be done from the same machine that has the Arc-en-Ciel Address software installed and running.

  • Should some locations that appear to have valid postcodes still not be given grid references after carefully completing all of the above, those postcodes may not be in Arc-en-Ciel's software; you may need to contact them directly to report these as missing.
