Contract Manager Guide

This article explains how to use the Contract Manager.

Contract Manager is used for viewing temporary and contract placements.


To open Contract Manager

  1. On the ribbon go to Interim.

  2. Click on Contract Manager.

  3. On the RDB Shortcuts toolbar go to View.

  4. Click on Contract Manager.

  5. Under Filter Options (on the left of the screen), select an option from the Show Placements that are buttons.

  6. Use the From and To date option (pick Last Week, This Week or Next Week using the date button).

  7. Select a consultant(s) by choosing from Include Placements by field and selecting one at a time. (If a consultant is not chosen, the bookings for all consultants will be displayed).

  8. Next, click Get Placements.

  9. All placements are listed in the centre of the screen. Information about the selected placement is displayed on the right of the screen.

  10. Under View, on the left of the screen, view other records associated with the one currently selected.


To Check Workers In

  1. Filter the screen to all new starters, sort the list by the column called Client Filed As.

  2. Alternatively, select a record, then under Actions on the explorer bar, click Set Start OK.

  3. On the right of the screen, see the client contact numbers.

  4. Assuming the worker has started, select the appropriate record and move the mouse over the Start Check column.

  5. If this column is not displayed, add it using Field Chooser.

  6. Right-click in the column and choose either Yes or No.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: If the worker does not start, it may be required to delete the placement.


To Extend a Booking

Double click on the record and the placement record opens

  • If the placement was created via Applicant Action and the daily shift option was used to set the shift pattern on the job, (Simple Schedule will be ticked on the Contract Info tab on the placement), edit the End Date in the Placement Details section at the top of the placement.

  • The worker's availability diary is updated with the booking and work/employee history records are updated on the applicant and client records.

  • If the placement was created via Applicant Action or via Assign Worker and the Diary was used to set the shift pattern on the job (Simple Schedule will not be ticked on the Contract Info tab on the placement), edit the dates in the diary in the Schedule tab. The Start and End Date fields on the placement are greyed out.

  • To extend/edit the booking, go to the Schedule tab. Select the dates either in the calendar on the left or the diary on the right of the tab. Right click on the right of the tab and a pop-up list of options appears. Its possible to add new shifts, delete dates, etc.


To Print

Under Print (on the left of the screen) clicking on Print List, will print the list, respecting any filters that have been applied. The report opens in print preview. Print, email or fax the report from here.
