How to use the Subject Access Request plugin

This article explains what to do if a candidate has submitted a Data Access Request.

In order to install the Subject Access Request plugin the user will need to be using RDB Version 6.0.0. or later prior to installing the plugin.

This plugin will allow the consultant to create a human/machine-readable format of the data held against a candidate.

To perform a Subject Access Request on an applicant record:

  1. Open the Applicant record for the Applicant who has requested their data.

  2. Click Subject Access Request on the left side column.

Once the Subject Access Request button is clicked a zip file containing all the information held against the applicant will be produced. A pop-up window will appear which will allow the user to choose where the file should be saved.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Before this file is sent to the applicant, open the file, check the contents and ensure that the information the user does not wish to expose to the applicant is removed.

To perform a Subject Access Request on a contact record:

  1. Open the Contact record for the contact who has requested their data.

  2. Click Subject Access Request on the left side column.

Once the Subject Access Request button is clicked a zip file containing all the information held again the contact will be produced. A pop-up window will appear which will allow the user to choose where the file should be saved.

The following information will be exported:

  • Person Details.

  • Phones.

  • Profile Images.

  • Attributes.

  • Profile.

  • Custom Columns.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Before this file is sent to the contact, please open the file, check the contents and ensure that information that the user does not wish to expose to the contact is removed.
