Subject Access Request Plugin

This plugin allows the end user to create an extract of all data relating directly to a candidate. This is primarily to aid with the Subject Access element of the GDPR regulation.

  • Please ensure you are running RDB version 6.0.0 and above prior to installing the plugin.

  • This plugin will allow the consultant to create a human/machine-readable format of the data held against a candidate.

  • In order to use the access Subject Access Request plugin within RDB, you will need to download the plugin from the RDB Store.


Manage access to the plugin

  1. On the Ribbon, click Options and then click on Manage.

  2. Select Plugin Packages and find the plugin you wish to edit permissions for.

  3. You can then select the users who should have access to the plugin.


Perform a Subject Access Request on an applicant record

  • A new option called Subject Access Request will appear on the left-hand side in the applicant records.

  • When the consultant selects the Subject Access Request option, a zip file containing all information held against the candidate will be produced. A pop-up menu will then appear and you can select where you wish to save the file.

⚠️ Important: Before this file is sent to the candidate, please open the file and check the contents and ensure that information that you do not wish to expose to the candidate, is removed.

The file can then be emailed to the candidate.


Perform a Subject Access Request on a contact record

  • A new option called Subject Access Request will appear on the left-hand side in the contact records.

  • When the consultant selects the Subject Access Request option, a zip file containing all information held against the contact will be produced. A pop-up menu will then appear and you can select where you wish to save the file

  • It will export the following data:

    • Person Details

    • Phones

    • Profile Images

    • Attributes

    • Profile

    • Custom Columns

⚠️ Important: Before this file is sent to the contact, please open the file and check the contents and ensure that information that you do ot wish to expose to the contact is removed.

The file can then be emailed to the contact.
