If free text search is not working for a user try the below:

  • Check that the user is on Hybrid by going to Help, About in Access RDB and the user is on Version 6.7 WTS SR3 or newer. If they are not on the above version please raise a new online case.

  • If they are:

    1. Log out of Access RDB and from https://go.accessacloud.com/identity/signout.

    2. Clear the cache and cookies from the web browser that pops up when first initiating a free text search.

    3. Log in to Access RDB.

    4. Initialize a search and sign in to Access Identity once the window opens up.

  • If the resulting web page says Now return to your App, results should be returned in Access RDB after short period.

  • If the resulting web page says the user needs to confirm that Access RDB and related apps have permission to use the account, the user must hit the red confirmation button near the bottom of the page; results should then be returned in Access RDB after a short period.

  • It is also possible to log into Access Identity from the Access RDB Login window. This eliminates the need to log in for free text searches within the session.

If the user does not have an Access Identity account yet, your Access Evo administrator will need to create one for them, and assign them the Recruitment CRM User role.

  1. To create a new account for a new Access Recruitment CRM user, an Access Evo administrator should first set them up within Access Evo. Once the user accepts their signup email, their Recruitment CRM role can be set within Access Evo as per the remaining steps.

  2. Go to Access Evo.

  3. Click on the Members Area (icon with 2 heads at the top right).

  4. Click the Three dots on the top right of the members card.

  5. Click Manage Roles.

  6. Next to Recruitment CRM change the dropdown to User.

  7. Click Save Changes.

📌 Note: The above steps can also be followed to change any existing members' roles.

If you need a new user to be able to manage plugins or want to remove the ability to manage plugin from a user, please raise a new online case with our technical support team.
