Contact notebook records not synching with client notebook

This article explains what to do if some contact notebook records aren't syncing with the client notebooks. A contact has been contacted recently and although we can see the communication in his notebook it doesn't appear in the clients notebook.

Sync works as follows:

  • When there is more than one eMail address on a contact, the system will use the Email (Office) address for synchronising with the Client Notebook.

  • If there is only 1 eMail address, then that is the one that will be used to synchronise with the Client Notebook.

  • If the most recent eMails are sent from one of the alternate eMail addresses then these will not synchronise with the client notebook.

  • Check that the Primary eMail address is set to the eMail address that will sync.
