Unable to delete/edit protected notebook item

This article explains how to resolve the issue when an item can't be edited because of lock symbol - user cannot delete item because it has been protected by another user.

When a notebook item is protected , only the user who created the notebook item can unprotect the item. In order to do this, the user will need to:

  1. Find the notebook item and double click on it.

  2. Remove the tick from the Protected checkbox.

  3. Click Save.
